Handbags | Wang's Are Glowing In The Dark

Following on from one of the most creative runways I have seen, namely his S/S '13 collection, it was only natural for him to continue the glow in the dark theme in his ever-so-popular bags...

Valentines Gifts

These are all the items I wouldn't mind receiving for Valentines day "WINK WINK", although tradition has made all "suitable" Valentines presents to be pink or red with a sprinkle of sparkly dust, I think that something black and stapled with studs (sufficient but not necessary :P) would be an equally suitable present.

Clutch it

I just came across this on a fashion web in a 'splurge or save' article and I thought that this was the 'splurge' item...
 turns out I was wrong...

but I mean, check out the contender...

Timeless

Gold and black, one of the most classic color combinations. This beautifully crafted piece is by Isabel Marant and this is where her inspiration for this piece sparked:
“What she remembers most vividly about her father’s steady style is his watch, a simple timepiece with a square, gold face and black fabric band that he was never without. She doesn’t know who made it (the brand name has worn off with time), where he bought it, or if it was a gift. All she knows is that when she wears it now, ten years after her dad’s passing, “I feel a little of him with me.”
But because it’s too precious and priceless for everyday use, Marant’s crafted an almost dupe of the original and is available only in the Paris and New York boutiques.

The Row Fall '12 Bags

Simplistic beauty at it's best. The clean lines with a hint of metal in the design is the perfect mix for the sophisticated lady.

Backpacking

I mentioned a navajo backpack is my mission for this spring but there hasn't been one that has caught my eye. However, a simple mutedly toned backpack iss equally a priority on my wish-list. Here's a few which have caught my eye and I'm currently doing a pros and cons list in my head!

1. Acne Morab Nylon and Suede Backpack, $700, available at Acne.
2. Theyskens Theory Backpack, $575, available at Theory.
3. Pierre Hardy Contrast Neoprene Backpack, $1,650, available at Net-a-Porter.
4. Topshop Gray Jersey Backpack, $50, available at Topshop.

Kurger X Repossi Ear Cuff

For the Les Adieux De La Reine premiere, Kruger sported a stunning spotted Giambattista Valli Haute Couture dress, but the attention was on her Repossi ear cuff. The diamond-studded earring just fits on the curve of your ear without a piercing (awesome for those of us who don't have our ear pierced yet (ME!)), but here's the ear ache... a single cuff costs $12K!!

It shouldn't be long till a dupe comes on the market... HOPEFULLY!

Smythson Travel Wallet

So I saw this a long while ago and I had been searching for this exact purse but all my leads came to a dead end. However I did manage to find an unofficial dupe of it:

XMAS Wishlist 2011

Dannijo - Aram Necklace - $158
Topshop - Psychic Boots - £110
Louboutin - Pigalle Heels - £375
Hermes - Kelly Double Tour - £305
Alexander Wang - Slik Slip Dress - £225
Givenchy - Equestrian Wellies - £285

I'd be lucky to get even one of the items off my XMAS wish list.

I just thought I'd jumped on the "show case my wish-list" bandwagon.

Those of you in the know will be like "WTF THATS SOLD OUT" yeah... I KNOW! But it doesn't stop me from wishing I had it... I am specifically talking about the Topshop Psychic Boots and the Hermes Kelly Double Tour in black and silver palladium... I'm just hoping that someone will return the boots at some point :D and for the Hermes... a little birdy told me that they stock them in certain boutiques...

so... maybe... :D

that's if they don't sell out before i get to them...

Isabel Marant Pants

The first time I saw this pattern was on Cheryl Cole and she was shunned for wearing them as critics thought that she was wearing them as some kind of symbol/piss-take that she was out of the x-factor as the design of the embroidery resembled the x-factor logo... shows how much those tabloids/magazine writers know about fashion.

It is really bad of me, but anything that is an ethnic/aztec print, I automatically associate it with Proenza Schouler. It just shows how much of an impact their prints have had on me. It also shows my ignorance to not acknowledge other designers' patterns and I really should stop doing that, it is highly disrespectful and I APOLOGISE!

I am lusting for these jeans so bad but even at £395... they're SOLD OUT.

*cry*

(waiting for a high street dupe :D )

Jen, There's something for you...

Whenever I am met with one of these black boxes, I just KNOW that there is a 99% chance that I will scream when I open it.

My reaction wasn't just a scream, I also cried.
I think it was a legit cry because it was gifted to me by my other half for my birthday and it was completely unexpected! :)
