I've wanted to get inked for ages but I've not been able to choose a design because I'm so fickle.
I would like to think that once I have the tattoo I wouldn't go through all the trouble of getting it removed because either :
1) I don't like it anymore
2) The tattoo-ist made a mistake (that would be pretty sh*t!)
I just remember my friend told me the story of her friend who had a tattoo of a dolphin (her fave animal in the whole wide world) on left side of her tummy and when she became pregnant, the dolphin grew with the baby bump and turned into a whale... now if I was in her position I would have cried. I think we can all learn something from that:
DON'T GET A TATTOO IN AN AREA OF YOUR BODY WHICH CAN STRETCH!
Since I wasn't ready to take the plunge, no matter how much I wanted to, temporary tats are the next best option and Chanel had revamped the once cheesey childish and crummy body art which looked good for about a day and then would start to crumble and turn into black dirty spots like some sort of bad skin rash and they came in a variety of really badly designed tribal themed slashes... yeah... those were the days...
I haven't tried the Chanel ones, I couldn't really justify spending that much on it, so I can't say they crumbled like those £1 tattoos but at least they were super pretty! Today I came across Tattly and they specialise in temporary tattoos and the TATTONE one really caught my eye, a super slick design which is bordering on copyright infringement but I love it anyways and at $5 for a set of two, why the hell not!
P.S. They get A+ for creativity for this one!!
