Editorial | Constance Jablonski x Vogue Italia
I know this shoot is of a model which is conventionally beautiful and some think its boring because androgyny is huge for this fall... actually it's been going for a while and I'm kind of bored of it, so when I saw this I was excited! What I love about this? Erm... The question should be what don't I love!? I am very big on fur although I haven't worn it yet (due to bad weather) but I am collecting fur items so that when the time comes I have OPTIONS!!
The fur in the ad... I don't know if it is fake or not, I am not condoning the real fur industry now a days, but the fur in the pictures look so... soft, warm and cozy... still doesn't mean its real... the shoes in the picture = Alexander Wang and I LOVE! In the first picture is the super hero cape shoe - Fabiana, in the 4th picture is it the ever increasingly popular style of shoe... the slipper shoe but in heel form - Anais.
The whole big hair and fur reminds me of a stereotypically wealthy looking person, normally I would think that it is overly pretentious and I would want to vom in my mouth, but I think those kittens (so precious!!) are offsetting that... but at the same time, its so cruel! It's like their looking at their own future in the fur jacket.
Whenever I see Jablonski in an ad/editorial/lookbook/any picture, I think of Lily Donaldson. They have every similar features: massive eyes and perfectly proportioned lip - Girl Crushing.

Yeah its conflicting isnt it? Although I must mention that since it was in Vogue Italia I am 99% certain that they were using real fur. The industry over there sadly isnt as empathetic to animal welfare than other corners of the globe =) BUT cuuuuuuute kitties :P teehee
