This was meant to be up in Jan, but exams and other work stuff got in the way and over time it got lost in my photo album folers. Excuses, excuses... bleh.
I love this picture, not just because I look awesome (LOL) but because my bessie took this picture of me at her sleepover and as always I had an awesome time catching up with old school friends over uber strong coffee to keep us buzzing for the night and hand made pizza with wayyyy too many toppings.
Nadia, the bessie who was hosting, has always been a make-up junkie and still is now, loves to experiment with new colour palettes and contouring on my face and will take every opportunity to grab her make-up kit and get working on my face (maybe she is hinting...). The day before I went to her's, she saw the Chanel Paris Bombay catwalk and was inspired to dupe the ultra smokey eye and VOILA!
It was a major shame that my other bessie couldn't make it that time because she was held up back in London, but hopefully another sleepover will be scheduled for more make overs and gossip!

After reading all the comments in our mini debate on gold and silver, I now present to you another all time favourite debate:
Gold on Black... OR... Gold on White?
Personally I think that Gold on Black would be my go-to look, if I had more golden garments in my closet seeing as I have so much black already!! But I have to say, that white Balmain jacket is FREAKING AWESOOOOME!!!
P.S. A Reminder about H&M Fashion Against AIDS launches tomorrow!

Yes you read it! 25 ways to wear a scarf in 4.5 mins!!
I didn't even know there were 25 ways! I normally opt for the simple "Drape Classic" and the "European Loop" because the scarf is usually the last thing I choose when putting an outfit together so I literally throw it on before leaving the house.
Some of the methods were obvious but near the end of the video you get to see some of the less common methods. I just love how this video was put together, it's not only informative but also entertaining. Even if you're not interested in the content, I would still recommend watching this just for the entertainment value!
My favourite was the magic trick! I saw it posted in "The Sartorialist" a while back but the method he was trying to show us was slightly more complicated, so I had to keep referring back to the video. In this video the method is much more easier to grasp!
Which method would you use?

Lately, I have been celeb stalking on Just Jared and Miley has caught my eye, damn that girl is fit. Seems like she's been hitting the gym almost everyday!
AND check out her backpack, SO JEAL RIGHT NOW!!! I NEED THAT BAG!
Truth be told, I am not really a fan of Miley's music but her after-gym outfits are awesome! But I have a high suspicion that my opinion is swayed by her new body shape, I mean anyone who is toned can pull off skin tight jersey, right?
What do you think?
Is it the clothes or her new bod?

(Topshop dress, Topshop shoes, Ray-Ban Wayfarers, Zara Blazer, Alexander Wang diego bucket)
A gorgeous day out in the town and for some reason we ended up in a museum... hmm... Anyway, in accordance with 99% of the things to do in Switzerland, everything has a fee and I swear there was an entrance fee to this place... but I didn't go in through the entrance, OH NO, I was a bad ass and went through the EXIT :O to be honest I didn't even know where I was going, I just saw the door open to what I thought was the town hall and ended up being a museum... yeah...
This blazer is a beaut and I cannot believe I have only worn it twice since I have had it, especially when I took me so long to have it in my closet! The story (if you're interested) of this blazer stems back to when it first hit the shops and the military jacket was the biggest thing that hit the fashion world. Balmain reinvented it with the uber padded shoulders and heavy metal detailing and all I could remember was that I needed AND wanted that Zara dupe so I could go all crazy with DIY studding but of course it wasn't as easy as I thought as the jacket had sold out before I could even set eyes on it in store, so I rang up the boyf who snapped it up in Geneva town and he held on to it for what seemed like forever because by the time I received it, I had almost forgotten about the jacket! (Shh, don't tell him that!) The first time I had it in my arms I couldn't get myself to alter it in any way because the garment alone was just perfect. Now that it is in my closet, it remains one of my FAVES, so don't let the number of times I wear something be an indication of how high I rank it as sometimes it's because I treasure it and want to maintain its beauty.

I am on a fluoro-yellow streak right now, so you cannot believe my excitement when I saw this in Zara whilst in London the past weekend. The removable straps allows the satchel to be turned into a clutch. The size is just right for day if you're an iPad/netbook carrier and there is still space for your phone, pens, notebook etc... The clutch is so roomy that you can just throw in your essentials for night. Fluoro items have a danger of looking cheap, but when made with the right materials and cut in the right shape, it can look oh so high end, and I think Zara has hit the nail on the head with this one and at only £22.99, ITS A BARGAIN THAT HAS TO BE HAD!

I cannot believe I am actually loving this electric shade!
If any of your have read the "about" section on my blog, you would read the part that reads "Maybe one day you'll see me in a highlighter yellow ensemble... One day..." I guess that day is coming sooner than I thought! I cannot wait to get my hands on the perfect "highlighter ensemble"!! I just love how all of the outfit above pairs the blinding shade with the darkest of colours to give maximum impact.

In summer and possibly spring, most of us opt for the "ripped denim jeans" look, but this spring we are seeing longer lengths of the same style. The messy trampish jeans juxtaposing the clean lines of a blazer and bright white tops, is a worth while investment.
