Outfit | Neutrals On White
(Topshop dress, Topshop shoes, Ray-Ban Wayfarers, Zara Blazer, Alexander Wang diego bucket)
A gorgeous day out in the town and for some reason we ended up in a museum... hmm... Anyway, in accordance with 99% of the things to do in Switzerland, everything has a fee and I swear there was an entrance fee to this place... but I didn't go in through the entrance, OH NO, I was a bad ass and went through the EXIT :O to be honest I didn't even know where I was going, I just saw the door open to what I thought was the town hall and ended up being a museum... yeah...
This blazer is a beaut and I cannot believe I have only worn it twice since I have had it, especially when I took me so long to have it in my closet! The story (if you're interested) of this blazer stems back to when it first hit the shops and the military jacket was the biggest thing that hit the fashion world. Balmain reinvented it with the uber padded shoulders and heavy metal detailing and all I could remember was that I needed AND wanted that Zara dupe so I could go all crazy with DIY studding but of course it wasn't as easy as I thought as the jacket had sold out before I could even set eyes on it in store, so I rang up the boyf who snapped it up in Geneva town and he held on to it for what seemed like forever because by the time I received it, I had almost forgotten about the jacket! (Shh, don't tell him that!) The first time I had it in my arms I couldn't get myself to alter it in any way because the garment alone was just perfect. Now that it is in my closet, it remains one of my FAVES, so don't let the number of times I wear something be an indication of how high I rank it as sometimes it's because I treasure it and want to maintain its beauty.
