Outfit








(Mango shirt, HM cardigan, Zara harem pants, Topshop desert boots, Balenciaga bag, Primark lion ring)

Not quite satisfied with the picture quality, but it has been a while since my last outfit post. So please excuse the blurry-ness! For the past couple of months I have been living in boots of some sort, and finally I got to go back to these desert boots. I don't quite know why they have the word "boot" in their name because they look nothing like a boot... anyway... they are in my top 5 list of favourite shoes because:

1) they are comfy
2) they are simple
3) they go with most outfits

The first time I saw a pair of desert boots and wow-ed was when my boyf sent me a link to the Acne Desert boots and initially I was like WTF?


Any links the boyf sends me, I keep the page up for at least a couple of days so that I can keep a mental note of what he likes (makes it easier to find him a pressie!), so I kept on going back to the shoes and they started to grow on me... I started to appreciate the simplicity of the design, it was such a clean shape and it had very neat laces which was the complete opposite of what I was seeing on the street at the time (which was heavy metal, studded, ruffed up ankle boots)... after a week I was in love and it was just my luck that Topshop had them in at the time and I quickly snapped up a pair! 

So... desert boots... yes/no?

P.S. I also apologize that my top is so crinkled, been so busy with assessments and bleh that ironing was at the bottom of my list of things to do

  7. I saw a pair of shoes like those in summer and went crazy for them. Haven't been able to finally buy them and get my hands on them:(
